– Older people will get their grants on Thursday October 2.

– People with disabilities will receive their payments on Friday October 3.
– Parents getting child support and everyone else will be paid on Monday October 6.
Remember these dates and make sure your payment details are up to date. SASSA wants to help everyone get their money without any problems.

SASSA now needs fingerprints or face scans for all new grant applications to stop fraud. Since September 1, they have signed up 42000 people at 432 offices across the country. If you want to change how you get your payments you need to follow these steps:
– Bring your South African ID & bank details. New accounts need proof from the bank. Old accounts need three months of bank statements.
– Go to your local SASSA office to fill out a form that allows the change.
– Send your request before the 19th of each month if you want the change to work for next month’s payment.
SASSA asks everyone to keep their information up to date so they don’t miss any payments.
